Allan: Re: "[E]ven so, at least about 1/3 of the concertgoers were wearing cell phones on their belts. So who has the dominant wireless technology and is best positioned to benefit from worldwide wireless communications growth?"

Radio Shack (Tandy) is one beneficiary as is currently commands a 70% market share of all wireless products sold to the consumer market. With its residual revenue business model, The Shack is not just a a retail store, it is a partner. Look for The Shack to possibly partner with AOL or Microsoft by the end of this year to offer high speed internet access. And The Shack posts real earnings. No wonder it was one of the three best performing investments in the S & P 500 for the first six months. Currently trades at a premium to the S & P. at about 30x 2000 earnings estimates. Not inexpensive, that is for sure and I would not buy it at this price. In fact, I will be a seller of some shares in the coming weeks to lock in long term capital gains in this position. But I would put this puppy on your radar screen at least.
