I have been lurking for a little less than a year here, but participating far more on the SEPR thread. The individuals which frequent this thread seem to be very knowledgeable in both the drug issues and stock company investment. I would like to pose what I assume is a newbie question to this thread, but I could not think of a group that I respect more, so here goes.

Perspective firstly, percentage wise I own about as much SEPR stock as this thread has in it's portfolio. My remaining portfolio contains very little other drug stocks. My average SEPR price is well above your portfolio's. My purchases occurred over the last 9 months, therefore I have seen a "few" ups and downs. I believe I fully understand the potential and probability of success for SEPR, but the most significant stock price increase seems to be a one or more years off. I must say the volatility of this stock is both annoying and distracting, but darn it I am convinced this company is soon to be jewel.

I have been discussing with myself why not sell the stock and buy even more lower priced 2001 say 80 call leaps with the proceeds. What I am trying to do here is claim the right to own the most SEPR that I can afford to risk.

I note this portfolio owns SEPR stock rather than options of any kind. Could anyone argue the merits or direct my attention to an argument for owning a 1-2 year future value stock rather than employing a leap strategy. A secondary question would be to ask, -is there is a better way to capitalize on the SEPR potential? Thank you for whatever wisdom you could impart to this newbie.
