Cheryl,

>What exactly do you think people should not buy?<

Why do you put words in my mouth?

Where, and when did I say this?

I have experienced 2 power outages in the last year, I didn't need anything more than my flashlight, phones made by Nortel still worked, except name display and voice mail. Even one of my computers still worked, it was a notebook. FYI, most push button phones will still work with the power off.

The outages only lasted about 30-60 min. Didn't go to the store and buy a generator in case the power goes out again, which it surely will.

Can't see buying a generator for the odd power outage. Oh, we had a really bad storm about 14 years ago. The power was out for 12 hours+, in the middle of winter, the water pipes didn't freeze, it was really no big deal. The bad thing was, we had a cold meal, but I survived.
