Speaking of beauty... ..She is very proud of the achievements of Indians in England. "I feel India is now part of the landscape in Britain. It's as though we want to make a difference and I think we are managing to do that." As a second generation-er, she says, she has the best of both worlds. She has strong affections for India. "I love going back. It is special to me."....... Anchors do have a personal following and a lot of people out there like the English accent. I think that explains why some of the American viewers reacted when they nearly lost the show. I'm not personally looking to be recognised, I just do my job. Everyone is integral to the show's success. People in America actually videotape the broadcast if they are out. How many people in England tape the news?
