Were Greenspan's comments and tone being directed at another
audience across the seas??>>
One cannot ever reduce the impact of political on economics nor can one ever have total fair, as life is not total fair.

I respect Ron so I never feel he is badgering me. I am a free thinker so with the help of many compile thoughts of my own.

If the spirit of "lets work together" falls apart, then I who has the
most power has the most to lose, then I will do alone for self and
after then I will help you others who now go their own ways ....
... (to me, Greenspan's thoughts/message).

The problem with world trade the realty is greed in all directions so the individuals perpetrate the greed with knowledge of conditions of their own nations yet it is not greed because it does create employment within the nation. It gets very complicated as to where the most economical raw commodity can be bought and the labor to manufacture that product etc. In a world of telecommunications at some point it will be one large howl all over for equal work equal pay. So here it is not national is it inhabitants and greed again.

I have spent the day with my friend who is going back to Taiwan and leaving her son here at Berkeley in not the best political climate one could hope for in China
