Folks I have a new pastime. It's seeing Iridium Flares. The Iridium network is a bunch of low-orbit satellites for rich phone users. When a satellite is lined up just right, it can be headlight-bright for a few seconds. Use this site and enter your coordinates in, and it'll figure all sorts of satellite passes for you - it'll even show you a star chart!!! I've bookmarked it with my local coordinates saved in - and I just hit the bookmark for sat passes over my my my back yard. A most excellent website. gsoc.dlr.de
