Michael, those people who signed the petition you cited denying the reality of global warming are for the most part not experts of any kind whatsoever. Anyone with a degree can sign--you don't have to be any kind of scientist with any knowledge whatsoever of climate or the environment--and in fact there are quite a few medical doctors from conservative states like Louisiana who are simply in high tax brackets and are conservatives or libertarians, and would sign any piece of paper which they believed might lessen their tax burden.

But we already talked about that last year. I am surprised that you would bother to bring up that web site again, which was already totally debunked here.
