good info re ibd rankings for csco. i once built
a small portfolio comprised of stocks with top
ibd rankings (eg 99/99/a/a/b) it sputtered for
2 months & i abandoned it. point is the rankings
(in this limited case) proved to be good reflection
of recent past performance---not indicator of near
term performance.

the ibd chief (can't remember his name) says buy hot
stocks that are running up vs those that have been
beaten down which generally works though not always.
IF qcom's stock price begins to tumble we will simply see
the ibd "relative strength" measure decrease from 99.

don't get me wrong, i like the ibd indicator system. would be interested in your thoughts on ibd or qcom
