Why this is the case is unknown to me. But unfortunately there is no relationship now between Sprint PCS and G*. Your logic is impeccable. But in the phrase used in the Nixon years, "inoperable". PS What you suggest might be possible with Vodaphone/Airtouch since Airtouch is the chosen wholesale agent for G* for North America.
