Some major Eidos Games look to be Delayed

Besides the much headlined delays in
Daikatana, it seems Eidos is behind
on Anachronox, a roll playing game,
according to PC Gamer Magazine. I
personally suspect they are behind
on Revenant, as magazines have been
advertising it for months with not
so much as a demo on the internet.

I suspect every time Blizzard puts
out a new screenshot on Diablo-2,
Eidos is forced to keep changing
Revenant. Ironically, the longer
Eidos waits, the less chance people
will buy it as D2's debue draws near
release. Sort of like what happened
with Tiberian Sun after StarCraft
came out. I'm positive that C&C title
was improved under peer pressure.
I have a sneeky suspicion D2 may be
out earlier than most think. The near
finished game was put under a 36 hour
beta test by some magazine contest
winners. I doubt Blizzard would allow
it unless the game was practically
finished. I'd guess D2 will go Gold
in September, not November as most
publications seem to conceed.
