It is absurd to suggest that Brinker would claim anything
as the market declined 50%.
He has always stated he would not intentionally ride out
a major bear market. Therefore if the market declines 50%
or anything close to that he will ride it out unintentionally
unless the model turns bearish somewhere in the general
vicinity of the top, which he has defined as about within
five percent of the top.
But, be assured, if he calls the bear market and some people
decide to follow the call and escape the ravages of a bear
market, there will be a new group of bashers and trashers that
will appear until he gets smart and decides to play golf full time.
Noone should be surprised if he replaces radio with golf by December.
