Seems to me that depends upon the approach used. If you limit your downside religiously then you will gain overall, I think. It will be interesting to see how the rest of this experiment comes out. I do think the parameters set have to be changed to allow for quicker ins and outs. The trader must include his/her intuition and not follow a set guideline. My thought is that a trader could play with $2,500 to $5,000 and day in and day out take an average of $125 to $250. This is not a bad side income. Obviously if you increase the principal you increase the return, but also the risk. From what I have seen, it can be done.
