I wish you'd stop manufacturing this hype
first you make up you heard a story of ALSC's deferring inventory sales till prices are higher, now you tell use fund managers without a clue, suddenly recognize ALSC/SIII portfolio value. Give us a break. We are not all that gullible. If fund managers WITH a CLUE have not written about this situation, then nobody will, and Six months from now the high in the Semi buying season will be over, and ALSC can start liquidating it's USC holding, meaning they missed the comback in their industry, and will be nothing more than a shell of large one time gains in cash that management is too stupid to handle profitably. After their Rush Chip disaster, I'm terrified to hear what ALSC thinks it can profitably do with that mountain of cash, and only pray they'll be bought out then by someone who can better spend that money, and respects the need to reward shareholders for their patience. Stocktalk, I'm not calling you a lier, but I'll reserve personal judgement on your postings until they can be independently verified.
Ken, ALSC went from $3-11 along with other pure Semi plays like ISSI under the assumption that they would take advantage of their industry recovery. To me the portfolio was purely a 'safety net' in case they screwed up, which they did. |
