Wes - With both DSL and cable you share bandwidth. DSL just happens further up(down)stream. Considering the extra cost of DSL (and the limitations) and that most people just want to be able to surf a bit, cable is what most people will choose. DSL will be popular with small businesses and bandwidth-hungry home users that don't mind paying for an extra couple Kbs. Don't get me wrong, cable has its problems (more than I expected). Look on the newsgroups, most of the complaining comes from the cable modem users. The DSL users are usually quite happy. Why don't you just hook the cable modem up to a hub and hook it up to all three computers? The cable modem can do everything the DSL can do. llater, Tony B
