Well, If you look at the one year time frame, Oct was always at the top in OCT. and bottom in Jan of the same year. So you should buy Microsoft in Jan of each year and sold in Oct of the same year.

As your claim that Microsoft bottom every Oct., well , pls just review the historical chart, I hope you did not make up your own,

Oct to Dec , Microsoft's pattern is as follow :

1994 Oct to Dec UP (Oct did not dip)
1995 Flat( Oct did not dip)
1996 UP(Oct did not dip) 1997 Flat(Oct did not dip)
1998 Down in Oct and up till Jan ( due to
the Asian crisis)

So, what do you mean that Microsoft Bottom out every Oct, and went up till Jan of Next year , and benefit from that every year ? Did you make up your own patterns or just based on imagination ?
