Ali, Intel knows there is a big gun aimed at them (K7). More powerful than anything they have and will have for at least a year. The .18u coppermine is late, probably next year. They are doing what they have to do, what you and I would do. All they can do is enact various stop gap measures and have daily prayer meetings in hope that AMDs big gun will jam...as usual. So 600MHZ at .25 buys them a little time...at least equal MHZ for a little while longer...after that it's just hope that AMD will screw up a while longer. After that, they know they are in trouble... It's AMDs game to win or lose....the ball is in their court and the clock is winding down. Jim
