As for the Japanese postal system money...

I spend 20 years of my life in Japan and have a Japanese wife and many close relatives in Japan, and I feel VERY confident that very little of that money will ever get in any market anywhere, why, because the Japanese people had their money in the postal system because it was the safest and most secure place they could place it. They will NOT risk it in the stock market. It will likely get buried under their tatami mats in their homes or in large safes somewhere secure.

Most of the money being traded presently in Japan's Nikkei is western money, not Japanese money.

The Japanese investor was burned BADLY in the 80's bubble in Japan and it will be years and maybe never... before they ever consider risking it in the stock market. The JAPANESE people are VERY conservative and even more now.

Also the younger generation in Japan who might be a little less conservative have NO money. In Japan and many Asians countries Wealth goes with seniority / age. There are VERY few young people with any kind of money, and since the Japanese tend to live a long life by the time they get it from their parents they are also old and have become much more conservative.

regards
Don
