Charles you win!, but.....banter and hotel info follows...... That was a date I could not forget when Bill mentioned it in passing while Ron and I were down there THREE WEEKS AGO, but of course I didn't want to steal anyone's thunder!!! You still won fair and square. May 16 is my wife's birthday and God (or the loyal threadlings) help me figure out some rationale for being in Charleston if my "historic, romantic, heart-shaped jacuzzi room for the birthday weekend" line doesn't work on her. <g> Good thing it isn't her 40th or I would have NO chance. The four is chains but I know there is an Embassy Suites in the historic downtown area. How's this for an idea. Someone bring down a projection TV (or one of those monster Gateway 2000 monitors) and we hook up my dynamic intraday tick chart during the meeting. We can monitor the stock activity as the street reacts to each and every eloquent utterance of our esteemed CEO. Analysts in the back rows, one ear cocked toward the podium, cell phone "send" fingers at the ready...glass enclosed red "bat" phones in brokerage offices around the country, with dedicated links to buy-side firms. Maybe one day, what do ya think? Nah, too much pressure.
