LRR, I am sort of allergic to mosquitos too. The Itchy and Scratchy Show.

I wondered if bites obtained while in proto-nirvana wouldn't itch. I mean, they shouldn't, if you're nice enough to let them bite you. Or, you should be able to set fire to them psychically, when they sink their probosci into you. Poof. Snap.

To a degree, I think it works, depending on the time elapsed. If you scratch the itch within the first oh say hour after the bite, it's history ~ the histamines or whatever burst into flames. But if you don't, because you're passing Triloki in the inner sky, and then remember not to scratch (you should be able to remember stuff after all that meditating) in the next hour or so, you're home free.

Almost.

Mosquito netting works better.

But see, your option is to try to kill them. That can take several flailing minutes, interspersed with periods of trying to concentrate again, and having her fly around your head. It's easier to just let her eat you and shut up.

Flailers with angry high blood pressure don't make it up the silver chord.

You never hear, "Jesus was a fly-swatter."
