Alan Funny you should mentioned pattern failure. About 5 minutes before I read your post I was looking at the 30 year T-bond index and saying to myself...the almost text book head and shoulders formation that has been forming for a month and a half just produced a whipsawed on Friday and broke back above the neckline after breaking below it a week ago. Since the bonds effect all of us in some way it will be a fun one to watch to see how the pattern plays out. To make things a little more interesting.....the T-bond futures didn't break back above the head and shoulders neck line and is sitting right on it. One has a major failed pattern and one doesn't....Monday is going to be interesting because everyone will see the same signals but which group will react first? Best Regards KEITH
