re EMC I remember an article in the Boston Globe a few weeks back on storage. Another start up company and one investor was the partner who started up emc. This also had some big backers. The company will be providing storage for small companies on a fee basis. The plan mentioned being located in several large central cities and support small corp who can't afford the emc's hardware. I wonder if this will be more competition for an ntap. I looked throughout the day for the post/article but couldn't locate it. John
