Nothing wrong with that strategy of planned obsolescense.. Companies do it all the time. The 8008, 286, 386 , 486, P5, P6 all have seen their days.

Same as the Graphics Solution, Mach 32, Mach 64, Rage, Rage II, Rage Pro, Rage 128.
