Noticed a couple of things this weekend. I saw Ancor in the August edition of Individual Investor in the stores now. It shows up in the back at the top of a list of small stocks that have moved up fast since 1/1/99. I also have noticed several research reports on Ancor dated 7/24/99. They didn't have much to say but I presume that they are doing these on this past saturday because of tuesday's listing on regular NASDAQ. I also spotted an estimate from the IDC on ASP growth, that is the business of taking care of others web sites and other such. In 99, the estimated spending on this is $150 million and the estimate for 2003 is $2 billion. Sun Micro was estimated to sell , currently , 60% of the servers that are used in this business, whatever it is. ron
