Mr. Hardy, I have been lurking on this thread since I got into MSFT and I must tell you your keen observations on MSFT day trading and more are really inspiring. I constantly get PM'd about MSFT, why am I in it, the hey day is gone, I'll never make money on MSFT, why not stick to "pennies".
Well, Like you I am not afraid of breaking from the lemmings, and historically speaking, I can't see why anyone did not get into MSFT at 76 as I did in May and even last week at 90.
This is still the largest company in the world, with most of it's products being required staples of the business world as we know it, not for lack of competition either as some would say, though I grant Gates pulled more than his share of weight to eat up more market share.
Frankly, MSFT is the IBM of the nineties, as I've said before, and I think it will break through 100 before 10/1.
Though typically I have a higher turnover than that.
My hat's off to you, and any links for fledgling day traders you'd like to share, I would be most appreciative.
Many thanks. |
