While earnings were good, and if sanity prevailed it would be good for the stock price, these days anything in line with analyst's estimates is almost a disappointment. However, because it's already suffered a big decline, I think Van's is headed back up.

And, David, I'll be the first to admit when I'm wrong, Vans did better than I expected. By the way, I always look at a company's balance sheets before I buy in. Still, I'm glad I didn't buy in when I was first considering it at 12, and it looked like it was still falling. Hopefully tommorow morning it will still be for sale under $11.

Nike fell after it beat estimates, but it had already gone through a nice rise on anticipation of that result. The opposite of the case is true for Vans, so the opposite effect should take place.

Good luck all,

Chimi
