To All,

Think about it Alan Greenspam! The way to improve America's productivity is not to raise the cost of capital. Now INTC,CSCO,MSFT etc. will have a greater advantage over the little guys as they are loaded with cash but even they need to borrow occasionally to ramp up incremental production. What is really needed is better tools for capital formation like lower government budgets and concomitantly lower taxes. In the long run 8% to 10% money is not going to slow down the boys who have billions in cash in the till. The strong will get stronger. Anyway, who wants to invest at 8%-10% in a falling bond market when you can still do 12-18% in the equity market.
