Will, Yeah, SOITEC is certainly interesting. I would bet that KOPN uses technology similar to SOITEC's for their thin "lift-off" devices. GaAs still probably has some steam left. I heard that the barrier to entry into the epi-HBT wafer process is steep but I don't know first hand. Hell, Cu interconnects would be a screaming blue bitch kitty to do but everyone seems to be on the bandwagon. It'll be interesting to see how IBM(?) and Temic's SiGe devices eat into the GaAs market in the next year. Do you still have your ATML? JF
