<couple pails of water just in case>> Well,...uh...Karen, if I might make a suggestion here....as I am an animal lover. I strongly urge you to have a lot more clean, pure water stored for your pets or animals, if you have any....I recommend having about...as a gross number, about 6 months worth, both for their drinking, and for baths.
If you are not aware such would be very prudent to have for your animals, I suggest studying the exceptionally grim reports that have come out about how saturated are the water delivery systems with embedded chips/systems, as well as a govt official that warned of a potential of, if I recall, about 60 milllion people dying from thrist (that's just in the US). Also, you may want to see articles relating to how dangerous chemicals got dumped into the water supply during y2k testing, and how that is a REAL potential anywhere. Of course, this is just for starters.
Of course, when electricity is off, no water will flow then either. And, if the utility companies don't have enough fuel for generation, no electricity, even if grid was otherwise hunky-dorey, which it won't be.
You might also want to find the safest place in your home to hid your ah... pails of water, because when the gangs, neighbors, and everyone else have no water to drink, this will be desired asset number one, no matter where they have to go to find it. Three days no wa-wa makes Johnny a very unhappy little gangster, and very dead if he doesn't use his big banger real soon to find some so he will live to loot yet another day.
If you have no pets or animals then I guess this post is moot. |
