Nothing definite. But see my previous post on the 23rd. TKR has a small float and usually a bigger than normal spread so even if only a few new buyers jump in it can move. The price has been slowly climbing for several weeks and now the volume is picking up.

Usually around this time VB stocks start climbing due to interest, promotion, drilling plans, etc. Nothing released for quite a while for TKR and their JV partner in VB (NDT Ventures) wasn't moving last time I looked.

I don't always try to figure out the mkts I just follow their lead. I saw my sign to pick up some more last week at 3.30 when the market depth was starting to have strong bid support in a narrow range and the offers were much smaller in size over a wider range.

Still a great time IMO to enter this stock. Remember it traded a good portion of '96 for over 6.00 and hit 11.00.

PS - The latest unconfirmed rumour I hear is that TKR is going to announce shortly a new major acquisition in a South American country begining with a "P" and ending with a "u".

Note - always take control of your own investment decisions - due your own due diligence. But if it takes off to over 5.00 this week remember I picked it at 3.30 last week <G>.
