Dan, about a year or so ago the companies began using diluted shares for reporting earnings. I believe this takes out the possibility of raising EPS due to buy back. Dell has done very well using shares as an investment in the past so I won't rule out buying a bargain. Someone will correct me if I am wrong. Pat
