I'd give the remark an D- or an F from a PR perspective, as the passive reader could take the statement in many different ways. I don't believe Bezo's is honest in publicly discussing the risks of his business strategy - has Bezos ever stated anything close to following: "Amazon's strategy of rapid leveraged expansion into different web retail categories has many inherent risks in that the future web competitive landscape may actually unfold in ways that cannot be accurately forecasted. We therefore advise caution in setting expectations regarding future profitability. We don't know exactly when Amazon will be profitable." This would be honest. I believe it would also cause AMZN stock to go way down. Thanks, -Eric
