Well , if you refer the buying power of your money on Microsoft stock, your $10000 in 1987 can probably buy 40000 shares of MSFT ( MSFT had appreciated 40000% since it went public) , and you can only buy 110 shares today with $10k. So, how can you afford to miss the train ? well, next 10 years you will have the second opportunity. We are now in a revolution of technology, the growth of MSFT in the next 10 years will be much bigger than the previous 10 years !!!!!
