Yes, SFY's response to what NG is doing is discouraging. However, I checked the 6-month performance of 56 energy stocks and SFY was #10 on the list. Not too shabby, since I expected it to rank far lower than that.

I checked a point & figure chart on September NG, and my best guess from the chart is that NG is due for some consolidation, but the pricing is obviously strong, so companies like SFY and APC and SGY ought to perform reasonably well even if the broader market tanks.
