Brian, I don't think the following has been posted yet: _____________________ Tuesday March 25 4:42 PM EST Montgomery favors Microsoft( Microsoft Corp ),Oracle( Oracle Corp ) SAN FRANCISCO, Calif., March 25 (Reuter) - Montgomery Securities Inc research executives said the investment bank believes shares of major technology companies, such as Microsoft Corp and Oracle Corp are undervalued. In a conference call with reporters, technology research director Thomas Thornhill and research director John Skeen also said they like Cisco Systems Inc , Ascend Communications Inc , Fore Systems Inc , Seagate Technology Inc and Quantum Corp . The analysts said they see no slowing of capital spending on technology by corporations, PC shipments remain strong and semiconductor prices are poised to rise 10 to 15 percent. "These are factors that we think will continue to drive technology as one of the better growth sectors in the economy," Thornhill said. Skeen and Thornhill said Montgomery sees no particular enduring slowdown in the technology sector, concern over which has weighed on high tech stocks over the past three weeks. __________ Tons of good news coming out this afternoon.
