Doug, You are right about DVD being a ways off. But when it arrives THDO will be too expensive for me to buy in quantity. I prefer holding a good long term investment to trying to time getting in and out of it. The arrival of DVD may be sooner than people think. Compaq just announced that they would be shipping PC's with DVD by the end of this year. Compaq has already announced a partnership with Thompson to make multimedia PC TV's with DVD. Thompson will be using Matsushita's M2. Acer just announced that in '97 they would be making DVD players and set-top boxes based on a powerpc chip -- sounds like an M2 to me. Things will soon be looking better for 3DO if either or both of these companies use the M2. Bruce -- still holding 3DO
