You don't "dig" oil, you drill it. I think you California people think oil wells are ugly, but us Louisiana girls think they are beautiful. A little "grasshopper" well in the back yard would be a nice thing to have, wouldn't it? ~ assuming the oil is your own, and your granddaddy didn't sell the mineral rights under your land to the Yankees.
