I think you are right, but I dont understand what actually happened. My first post showed the following news:

GO2NET, INC. DIRECTOR FILES SEC FORM 4
WASHINGTON, DC, Jul. 22, 1999 (States via COMTEX) -- William A. Fleckenstein of Seattle, WA, a Director of Go2Net, Inc. (SYMBOL: GNET), disposed of 2,000 shares in 2 transactions for between $67.54 - $92.38 each between June 02, 1999 and June 25, 1999. William A. Fleckenstein currently owns 0 shares. A Form 4 reporting the transaction was filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission on July 12, 1999.

Since then it has become apparant that he has made some option purchases which would seem to indicate a very bullish sign give the short expiration of options in comparison to the stock.
