Sure the FM radio is a nice extra but you have to remember it adds weight, size, complexity not to mention cost. If you just want to listen to FM, you can buy a nice tiny setup for about $25. I would say if DIMD wants to improve the RIO, they should concentrate on more memory at an aggresive price point. The Nomad cost 2.5 times as much as RIO. I don't think many people are willing to pay that much premium for an FM radio.

I predict the original RIO will be selling for $79 (after rebate) and the new model with twice the memory will sell for $139 by November 1st. If that happens, RIOs will be a huge hit this Christmas! jmho
