John, My impression from an earlier Boston Globe article on Storage Networks is that EMC and/or a founder has invested in this company. As to NTAP and EMC, I see them as selling into opposite ends of the storage market. EMC focuses on enterprise customers with high end products while NTAP provides affordable entry level solutions for the low end of the market. I don't think that they are in direct competition in many accounts as of today. Hal
