So once again, the Human council at Carthage decides to accept its own interpretations of Scritpure... but I digress.

...and I believe in Jesus Christ <the son of God>, who is seated at the right hand of the Father who will come again to Judge the living and the dead...

Hmmm... seems sorta Judiac to me. Biblical even. I guess the question you have to ask yourself is :
If Jesus is not God <or his Word made Flesh> then who is Jesus? Some patsy for early Christiandom? That is what many Jews believe. No, I say to you that Jesus and the Spirit are BOTH part of God; of God , and with God in HEAVEN <ie. that place you may say couldn't possibly exist until the second coming...>

well let's answer a few of your questions:

If Jesus and the spirit were one and the same why would there be a difference against sinning against Jesus vs. the spirit?
Because they are two "persons" in one. If you spoke against the Father would He not send a storm of something against you rather than say, oh, I don't know, turning the other cheak? It is part of the "mystery" of the Trinity.

and then let me ask you one question... "And you, who do you say that I am?"

While it may be that Jesus Christ is only a body for God's Word he is still God's Word and in such they are the same. The Spirit is also a part of Him in that it is His Spirit as it were. So you have God, the head, his Word in Christ, and His Spirit everywhere <being one of those omnipotent allpowerful dudes that He is>. Why would God have a Spirit that was not His? Why would God have a message that was not His? If you believe the message is His, then you have to concede that it is part of Him (and the message, like the Spirit, is eternal).

...do I need to back these statements up with Biblical jargon (because I can) or do you get the Catholic "Trinity" idea? I don't care if you believe (because that is a matter of faith) it I'm just hoping you understand the reasoning behind it and now understand that it is not a FALSE teaching.
