Ken- Y2K denialists are as frustrating as the Simpson defenders during that farce of a trial < Is Orenthal still seeking the killer ? >.... time will tell who is right on this...
I gave up trying to help people who don't want to make basic preparations long ago. I do agree with some though that no amount of preparing is enough if worst case scenarios develope.
I encourage all to prepare at least water for couple weeks and basic food and a backup plan. Everyone has to make own decisions for self defense if necessary. In my opinion one huge area often overlooked is the US Mail and dangers from lack of. The domino theory is what most denialists have refused to acknowledge the real possibility of happening. It is alarming how fragile our society is. I believe had the worst case scenarios happened 30 years ago recovery would have been fairly painless -in todays world of globalism and ATM mentality for food and everything along with the quiet socialism of gov't reliance instead of personal reliance I am not as confident.
