Actually, Dude... I Was Hoping You'd Say That...
** You CAN'T quote various sources beyond Claugus. Not sources that are specific to WAVX. The reason Claugus keeps getting mentioned is that you keep rehashing AS BIBLE his arguments. And, you haven't even advanced or refined them. That's why Claugus keeps getting bandied about. All of which is interesting. But, not nearly as interesting as the next bit...
** What bit of illogic says that the price as of today IN ANY STOCK is the final and complete story? I am glad you are willing to except the PRESENT judgment of the market so unchallengingly. By this logic, I might have told you at $24 that WAVX was a better company than you would have given it credit for being. And, by your logic, you would have had to accept that statement. I'm sorry... but I can't, in good conscience, BUY your logic. I know, you CAN'T mean what you said.
** "However you can quote and I can quote different sources..." Can you quote Sarnoff or Hewlett Packard? Can you quote Gilder? Can you quote The Economist article? Can you quote an article about inTelecast? Do you know what inTelecast is? Can you quote an interesting passage from the Bloomberg release about the AOL investment in WAVX? Do you know at what event Steven Sprague is going to be speaking in September? Do you know who he's going to be rubbing shoulders with? More importantly, why DON'T you quote those? I mean, if you aspire toward some sort of objectivity, it would just make sense that you might quote those. And you do aspire toward some sort of objectivity, right?
** "...A well-oiled PR machine would have kept the stock from falling about 30% since Claugus' comments..." My golly, Dude, is it the task of a well-oiled (as opposed to an OILY one) to keep the stock from falling? Really? Actually, it's the OILY PR machines that keep their eyes on the quote ticker and let loose with half-baked releases in an attempt to manipulate the price?
** Now, humor me. When the stock price goes back up (I know, I'm assuming it will) and we regain our lost ground and add some to it on top for good measure, will you be back here saying what a fine company Wave Systems is? Somehow, I doubt you will. Now, isn't THAT curious?
Best Regards and Better Arguments,
