Warfare in 2015 will be very interesting. Current concepts deal with the managment of information while in combat. Information carrosels will be available for leaders to use, giving them more information then was available to division commanders in WWII. The challenge is to avoid information overload.

Other concepts involve the transformation of the battlefield to a nonlinear entity. While Apaches today fight in more or less of a line, in the future they will be more like a swarm of interconnected Bees, with each system sharing information with the others in a "realtime" mode. The systems will trade targeting information, friendly location, weapon status....all of this will greatly increase the efficiency and lethality of the platform.

And the concepts of information warfare and cyberwarfare are in their infancy. Why attack with people when you can use computer viruses?
