CANCALL ANNOUNCES A NEW DIRECTOR
VANCOUVER, March 24 /CNW/ - Cancall is pleased to announce that Pat Landy
has joined the Board of Directors as of March 24, 1997. Mr. Landy is a
director of NCB Corporate Finance Limited of Dublin, Ireland, which is a
member of the NatWest Bank Group. He has worked in an advisory capacity with
a number of Irish publicly quoted and private companies in connection with
various acquisition, flotation, restructuring and fundraising transactions
carried out by them. Prior to joining NCB Corporate Finance, Mr. Landy was a
senior investment executive with Nadcorp, an Irish state-owned venture capital
organization. Earlier, he was an industry analyst with the Irish National
Board for Science and Technology.
The company believes Mr. Landy will bring to the company a fresh business
development perspective, strong organizational skills and a broad expertise in
financial matters.
