Anyway, thank you for clearing up the whole North, West, East thing. I would point out also that N kept his predictions to himself mostly because he didn't want to get cooked. He could have been more specific as most of his predictions were not discovered until after his death. I say again that he was a generallist. And as for attributing past events to him - well, hey, you may say it is "X" when I say it is "Y" and it is all pretty futile BECAUSE HE DIDN'T EVER PREDICT ANYTHING USEFUL!
What value does it add to you as a person to know that the end is near, you won't see it coming, and there is nothing to do about it. It simply destroys your faith in whatever you believe in.
Personally, being also Roman Catholic, I find it sad that you do not look to Christ for your answers... if more people did we TRULY would not need ever look back on N's generalized, nondescript, generic, obtuse, pointless predictions. |
