PNF charts are slower moving than bar charts. You need three boxes for a reversal. Of course there are exceptions to every rule. I used the PnF chart to shoot against ECLP holding at 20. When it ticked at 19 1/2 I was stopped out. If it didn t give a sell signal at 19 1/2 I would still be long. In that sense they can be used but even that took a few days. PnF charts are more for investing than Day trading.
