So I take it she owns her own cable, a 45Mbps DS 3 backbone.

if you read them all you will see some of them are Proxies..
but not PSInet..uunet now belongs to wcom..and is doing some big
upgrades to OC 12..MCI is leading in the OC 12 area..far more
than that chart showes, Granted PSInet one of the first seems to
be bringing up the rear..but she not have the deep pockets as
some of the others..but don't confuse her with say ANS CO&RE..
( AOLs ) which has the title of being an internet..but rents lines..and just has pops and servers and such..I call them proxy type
providers..they do not furnish the real infrastructure and backbone,
if I have it all wrong then I done put down money were I didn't
want to.
But please check it out..I'm not hurt yet..I'm a johny come lately
and in this thing below 7 so far but thinking about getting more
as I can't see her not getting folded into one of the deep
pocket players..what did world com give for uunet ? granted uunet
was about 8 times bigger,I Think it was a 2 billion stock swap,
if we use that it should put psix roughly worth 250 mil at the
very least, or more by now...she got 40m shares out..x 7...
hmmm 280,000 cap..hmmm maybe I need to do more home work.
But how much cash did uunet have at the time...??? psix
got good cash for this type biz..$1.51 a share I think..could we
add that to the price..would help <G>
Thing is I don't see psix making it on her own..I do think she
will have to be picked up by someone..competition just to heavy
for her to make it alone, but she is to valuable to scrap,
IMHO.

the brokers don't like her..so I doubt she is shorted..at
least any more..and when they don't like a company it's time
