<Pollyannas..right..log on the first..rub it in>Senario most likely be that only a small number of simultanous disruptions will happen globally on the first...only a small %, maybe 10, will occur on or near that date.
What is more likely, is a continual degradation of many vital systems and links over the next several months, spiking end of Feb, whereby the cascading effects start slowing or shutting down many parts of the infrastructure, dominoing into related industries and other parts of the infrastructure and affecting all of society's systems over time-this is a simplified view.
Mainly, I am indicating there is no yes or no jan 1 finale.
So, I doubt anyone will be able to say I told you so on Jan 1, with any certainty--yet!
However, many of us doomeRealists are prediciting major changes to occur BEFORE Jan 1, which we will be able to sadly shake our heads and say "Guys, too bad you stayed asleep too long!", such as grounding of most/all passenger airlines, Martial law, rationing books for gas, food; disappearance of food from the shelves, if no food rationing program, no more storage foods, generators, water filtration systems, etc., etc., remaining, etc.
But, I certainly will NOT post gloating messages about this myself.
Instead, I will just have empathy for those will not be able to survive next year, or even substantially into next year, with their assets, maybe even their health or well-being or even their lives !
A possible tombstone marker next year, 'HERE RESTS A POLLY WHO STAYED A POLLY ONE DAY TOO LATE'. |
