David, I don't post often on the thread but prefer to mostly read, and hopefully learn to be more openminded about the different opinions of the understanding of God's word from person to person. It is extremely difficult for all to approach His word, being blinded by our inheritance of half truths taught by others. We all have been wounded in different ways and now try to express ourselves the best we can, many of us still bleeding from the hurts inflicted by others. Jesus was the only perfect one, in that wounded more than us all, He said "Father, forgive them, they know not what they do." As an imperfect human being, it is much easier to strike out and impress others with our not so perfect knowledge and wound as we have been wounded. Pride is the number one offender. Humility is lacking in us all.
