Frank Morris: Although I have said similar things I think your tirade was the greatest. I agree the guy is indeed a bumbling manipulator who is like a bull in a China shop. The problem is people don't think through his vocal posturing. If he raises rates we will just import inflation. They really can't screw around with public confidence much more as we approach the Y2K panic cash crunch. The guy is like a kid playing with matches in a fireworks factory. There is no inflation but if he keeps this up there will be serious dislocations in the markets and a loss of confidence in Americas crown jewel - its capital market place. He doesn't get it. To forestall inflation we must produce more widgets ergo letting PE's find their own equilibrium. This guy thinks he is smarter than the invisible hand of the market. Give us all a break AG and check your hat size. JFD
